Have you thought about ways you can help animals in need but are not ready to adopt? Why not give fostering a try then. You get to enjoy a wonderful pet without the financial obligations of adopting and who knows. You may end up adopting him. Many foster families do. Fostering means you provide the safety and love of your home and your family and we provide all the medical care if needed. Imagine the rewarding feeling of satisfaction when your foster pet goes to his new forever home. Remember the first time you set eyes on this scared little ball of fur who didn’t know if you were going to hurt him. And now, he is a confident, playful, happy and well-adjusted cat who chases toys and gives eskimo kisses. Feel the pride in your heart knowing you made this possible. You gave him the chance of a wonderful life with a loving family. Just because you decided you wanted to help. Yes. It’s hard to say goodbye and I’m sure there will be tears shed when he leaves but letting him go means you get to help another one who wouldn’t have a chance without you. You have to keep reminding yourself that you are doing what's best for your foster cats regardless of the way you feel. The hardest AND best part at the same time is letting them go to their new home knowing in your heart you made the right decision. And the very best part is when the new family sends you updated pictures even months later to show you how this funny little ball of fur turned into a beautiful and loved cat.
Now. A little bit about the process. Fostering for us is what I like to refer to as "adopting with technical support". :) You treat your foster kitty the same way that you would your own pet, with love and care. You supply food and litter and take them to vet appointments if they need to go for a visit or a surgery. We take care of the cost of all the medical care as well as the adoption process. We handle the ads, adoption applications and the home visits. If your foster cat needs anything, all you have to do is email or call us and we will take care of it. We are available 24/7 by email and during daylight hours by phone. It's that simple. If you think this is something you would like to try, just fill out and return the application below. Thank you :)
